Vision Zero Community Program: Yale Ave Project (University Hills)

July 27, 2019: Led by the University Hills RNO, District 4 Mobility & Streetscapes Working Group, Councilperson Black, and University Hills Plaza, this traffic calming pop-up project focused on the intersection of Yale Avenue and S Clermont Drive. We set up a median down the center of Yale, curb extensions, a sidewalk extension, and a pop-up bus shelter at the intersection. Our goal was to demonstrate some simple design changes that could improve walkability and connectivity in the area.
