Show up for transit this November: Vote Yes on 7A
This November is an important opportunity for residents of Denver and other communities along Colorado’s Front Range to show strong support for better transit service. Ballot measure 7A asks voters to approve a 0.333% sales tax increase – equal to one-third of a penny on a $1 purchase – to fund the Colorado Connector (CoCo), an express intercity passenger train providing service to 12 stations between Fort Collins and Pueblo, with Denver Union Station as the hub.
Hard pass on Lot M, Mr. Mayor
Mayor Johnston’s vision for the Mile High Line hinges in part on the Denver Broncos’ plans for Burnham Yard, the site of the new stadium. To make room for the development, Denver Water must relocate its Operations Complex to a different site. The problem? Their preferred site is a non-starter for DSP and our coalition partners. Along with 38 other community partners, we sent a letter to the Johnston administration to encourage the City to find an alternate location.
We’re setting a high bar for the Mile High Line
