Unurbanist Assembly is an annual virtual 23-hour teach-in confronting the legacy of racism in urban planning. The inaugural event was planned in response to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, an unarmed 25-year-old African-American man who was pursued and fatally shot by white supremacists while jogging near Brunswick, Georgia on February 23, 2020. 8000 participants from around the world participated in the 2020 Unurbanist Assembly.
