We hope you’re snuggled up with a warm drink, enjoying some holiday tunes and appreciating the winter wonderland outside. We’ve been reflecting on 2020 and thought we’d share a few of the things we’re most proud of from this challenging year, including:

  • Making space to walk, bike, and roll in safe, physically-distant spaces during a pandemic
  • Ensuring locally-owned businesses had the resources and support to provide outdoor seating so that our beloved main streets could stay open and vibrant
  • Pushing the City of Denver to keep its Vision Zero commitment to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2030
  • Working with the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure to develop new Complete Streets Design Guidelines that ensure people walking are the top priority on all city streets

Denver Streets Partnership coalition members made this video about all the reasons to celebrate people-friendly streets in 2020. From all of us at the Denver Streets Partnership, happy holidays to you and yours.
