Please join your community to participate in this year’s Ride and Walk of Silence, an international, annual event that memorializes community members who have lost their lives from traffic crashes and raises much-needed awareness around public street safety.
This year’s commemoration will be a small memorial event that you can attend at your own convenience. We will have a memorial of signs with the victim’s names on them set up at Civic Center Park throughout the day on May 26th and ask you to visit these signs on your own time. The signs will be placed across from the City and County building on Bannock Street.
At 4pm the Denver Streets Partnership and the DOTI Community Active Living Coalition will host a livestream on our Facebook pages for a brief name reading event and moment of silence to honor those who have passed away.
