The Future in Motion
Join a Community Conversation about Transit (RTD) near you
For many, transit is a lifeline
Buses and trains get families, students, and neighbors where they need to go and open doors to opportunities. For some, transit is a preferred alternative to driving, making it easier to get to major events in the city, run errands, and connect with friends.
However, across the Denver metro area, too many people struggle with long waits for infrequent service, missing or undignified bus stops, and limited connections. Transit isn’t just about getting from point A to point B. It’s about reducing pollution from vehicles, improving safety for everyone on the road, and making streets more people-friendly public spaces. It’s about opportunity, dignity, and equity.
Our region deserves better:
-
- More routes where a bus or train comes every 15 minutes or less
- Buses and trains that come earlier in the morning, later in the evening, and more often on weekends
- Transit that is fast and on time
- Better connections between routes to get you across the region quickly and easily
Join us for Community Town Halls on Transit
The Denver Streets Partnership and fellow members of the Alliance to Transform Transportation coalition are hosting Town Halls at multiple locations around the region. This is your chance to share your experiences, shape the vision for better service, and connect with other community members and your representative at RTD.
What to Expect:
-
- Meet your RTD Board Director, the person who represents you and helps make decisions about transit in our region.
- Meet like-minded neighbors who care about better transit.
- Share your story about getting around on transit and what improvements matter most to you.
- Join the larger effort to secure funding for more service and other improvements across the Denver metro area.
Come be part of the conversation to shape the future of transit!
